Thank you for visiting my legislative website. Within these pages, you can find information on the work I'm doing on your behalf in Olympia.
Serving the people of the 10th Legislative District is a privilege. I'm convinced we live in one of the best regions of the state. We need to keep it that way. Traveling throughout our district — listening to what matters to you — has made me even more determined to make a positive difference for our communities.
Throughout my life, I've worked hard to achieve my goals. I'll do the same for you in Olympia. Legislative priorities such as keeping taxes low, businesses thriving, balancing the budget, and providing a high-quality education to our students are just a few of the things I'll be fighting for.
Though guided by the uniquely American ideals of limited government and a free economy, I'm also committed to bipartisanship. The pressing matters we face today, including rebuilding our economy and protecting the most vulnerable, demand that we work together.
Your involvement in the legislative process is not only welcome, it's encouraged. Contact me anytime with your comments, questions, and concerns.
It's an honor to serve you!
Rep. Greg Gilday

Despite the devastating impact of the pandemic on individuals and families, our state tax collections have been resilient. Our state economy provided the Legislature a massive, $15 billion budget surplus in the 2022 legislative session. Unfortunately, the majority party blocked all attempts to provide any meaningful tax relief in the 2022 supplemental operating budget. I will continue to advocate for tax relief for struggling Washingtonians and small business owners.Learn how my colleagues and I are working to make Washington affordable

The Legislature repaired some of the damage done by the majority party’s policing reforms laws approved in 2021, with Republicans offering solutions and delivering critical votes. However, not all of the problems were addressed. State lawmakers must restore some of the authority for police officers to engage in vehicular pursuits when there is reasonable suspicion. Failing to change this policy will continue to have major consequences on public safety across the state.Discover what House Republicans are doing to protect our communities
